Altogether Care Launch Care Wey Home Care Service in Sturminster Newton

The Altogether Care group is delighted to announce the opening of a new Care Wey branch in Sturminster Newton. Care Wey provides daily help for people in their own home, enabling its service users to maintain a greater degree of independence and quality of life.

The launch coincides with the release of the Government's seven Common Core Principles to Support Self Care, which is designed to help health and social care staff support people to live independently, stay healthy and make the most of their lives by managing their conditions.

Graham Oakes, Operations Manager for the Altogether Care Group comments: "Our Care Wey care workers are passionate about the work they do supporting people who require practical, social and emotional assistance to live well-balanced lives in their own home and maintain their independence. We will be actively implementing the Government's Core Principles as they complement Altogether Care's ethos of ‘living life to the full' which puts quality of life at the centre of everything we do."
The Common Core Principles, which have been developed with Skills for Health and Skills for Care, will be available to employers, managers and workers in health and social care services so that they can use them to help service users get the most out of their care.
The new Sturminster Newton branch is the fourth Care Wey office in Dorset; other branches are based in Bournemouth, Weymouth and Wareham. Care Wey's service includes practical help and support with essential daily tasks for people who are unable to manage for themselves. Whether you need a small amount of support, from half an hour a week, to several hours a day or even live-in care, Care Wey's careers can help and their service is available on a temporary, intermittent or long term basis.
