Altogether Care are Winners
Altogether Care received a ‘Bafta-style' trophy and certificate after being chosen as winner of the Excellence in Customer/Client Care at the 14th Annual Dorset Business Awards, which took place at the BIC in Bournemouth on 18th November.
Altogether Care is the first care organisation to win this award in the Customer/Client Care Category. A formal acknowledgement of the professional care services the company provides to older people.
Altogether Care is a family owned business offering a wide range of residential care services including personal care, respite care and nursing care for people with physical or mental frailty. Residents are always treated as individuals and there is an emphasis on high quality nutrition, activities and person centred care, which encourages living life to the full.
Altogether Care also believes that old age is a stage in life - and not a condition. Brian Westlake said, "It's marvellous that we've won this special award and thanks must go to our dedicated staff, our residents and all those who support us in what we do. It was a special evening and a landmark award, which showcased the extraordinary work done by our nurses and care workers as well as their colleagues in the care industry at large. We shall now build on our client care award by conducting ongoing quality surveys, interviews and walkabouts, whilst bearing in mind that our residents views and quality of care will always come first".
